Dear Singers,
Chorale Bel Canto is auditioning! This is a friendly process, and although it may be stressful, it is important that we learn where you are vocally and musically, mostly to make sure you sing in the appropriate section, and also to aid in constructing a seating chart.
Below is a brief list of expectations and standards. Please look this over before you schedule your appointment. We are committed to provide support for our musical growth, and to that end will offer some voice work in a class setting, as well as musicianship training and music literacy to improve our overall learning effectiveness.
We are holding auditions in August, and it is very important that we hear everyone before the first rehearsal. To that end, we have agreed upon the following audition schedule:
Thursday, August 14 6-9pm
Friday, August 15, 9-12am
Friday, August 15, 1-4pm
Friday, August 15, 6-9pm
Saturday, August 16, 9-12am
Saturday, August 16, 1-4pm
Monday, August 18, 3:30-5pm
Monday, August 18, 6-9pm
