Our Travels- Bach in Bulgaria and Greece!
About 15 CBC members, former members, and friends travelled to eastern Europe in June, where we performed the Bach Magnificat in three cities. We joined forces with members of a Bulgarian choir and were accompanied by an orchestra comprised of American and Bulgarian players. The Varna International tour took us to the major Bulgarian cities of Varna, Plovdiv, and Sofia, then to Thessaloniki in northern Greece. Several of us continued on to Istanbul for a few days, and some to Athens.
It was a super trip, speaking the international language of music!
